Nancy J. Block joined Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP in 2001 and became a partner in 2005. Prior to joining MCB, Ms. Block worked for civil defense firms handling general liability, labor law and products liability cases.

Her practice encompasses all aspects of medical malpractice litigation from inception through trial. She has defended some of the firm's largest hospital clients as well as individual physicians in high exposure obstetrical, gynecology, cardiothoracic, neurological and oncology cases.

Ms. Block has also worked extensively in complex multi-party federal and state litigation involving hepatitis exposure, discrimination, RICO and false advertising claims. She is well versed in the requirements of electronic discovery and the preservation of electronically stored information and advises clients on these issues.

Ms. Block is an invited faculty participant in Hofstra University's Annual Trial Training Program and is AV rated* by Martindale Hubbell which is their highest rating.
