Rosaleen McCrory is a senior partner of Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP. Ms. McCrory's practice encompasses all aspects of medical malpractice litigation including the defense of physicians and medical centers in medical, psychiatric, dental and podiatric malpractice actions over the past seventeen years. Ms. McCrory has also worked extensively in the areas of asbestos mass tort litigation, mass litigation relative to hepatitis C/HIV transmission and general personal injury claims.
Ms. McCrory has also represented physicians in disciplinary matters before the New York State Department of Health, including its Offices of Professional Medical Conduct. She represents several major teaching hospitals, as well as various nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. Ms. McCrory was also instrumental in developing and implementing case management databases for litigation matters.
Ms. McCrory handles the defense of physicians and hospitals from discovery through trial. During the course of her career, Ms. McCrory was involved in the trial of Libby Zion v. NYH which involved the defense of claims for punitive damages against an academic medical center and residents accused of system wide supervision failures, sleep deprivation and medical education failures
Ms. McCrory is now the senior partner in full time residence in the Firm's Long Island office with a staff that includes six attorneys. |
