Stacie Young, Managing Partner of Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP, has extensive experience in all aspects of defense from pleadings, discovery and pre-trial preparation (including depositions, motion practice and evidentiary hearings), through trial. Ms. Young also has substantial experience developing files and managing major litigation. She is liaison counsel for physicians and health care defendants in the New York State Consolidated Silicone Breast Implant Litigation and is responsible for development and coordination of strategy among defense counsel of physicians and hospitals statewide. Ms. Young has also lectured to defense counsel and professional liability insurance carriers for physicians regarding litigation strategy for defending silicone breast implant cases. Ms. Young has written approximately 20 briefs and argued more than 10 appeals in the Appellate division and other appellate courts. |
