Welcome New Team Members to Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP

Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP is pleased to announce the newest additions to our team in our Long Island Office. On October 2nd, we were joined by two exceptional attorneys, Partner Michael J. Boranian and Senior Associate Michael K. Chin, joining us from Montfort, Healy, McGuire &Sally. Helene Moss, Legal Assistant to Mr. Boranian & Mr. Chin, will also be joining us in the LI Office. 

 

Michael J. Boranian is a distinguished attorney with over three decades of experience in the legal profession. Admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey since 1989, Michael began his career as a trial attorney with Schiavetti, Devito, Begos & Nicholson in Manhattan and later served as a partner at the Law Offices of Charles X. Connick, PLLC., for 11years. In 2005, Michael joined Montfort, Healy, McGuire & Sally. Michael graduated from Queens College of the City University of New York (B.A. 1983)and Brooklyn Law School (J.D. 1988). His practice areas span personal injury law, including medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, labor law, and municipal liability. He has successfully represented both individual physicians and institutional clients. He is also a dedicated educator, regularly providing insights to physicians and hospital personnel on professional liability and lawsuit prevention. 

 

Michael K. Chin is rejoining MCB having been as Associate here during the period of 1997-2001. Michael has been admitted to practice law in New York since 1994. He began as an associate and later a trial attorney at a commercial litigation firm, followed 4 years with MCB where he specialized in representing physicians and healthcare institutions in medical malpractice litigation. In 2008, Michael joined Montfort, Healy, McGuire & Sally. Michael graduated from St. John’s University and Hofstra University School of Law. His extensive practice areas encompass medical malpractice litigation, products liability, premises liability, and commercial litigation. He is renowned for representing physicians and medical institutions with a remarkable track record defending corporate entities, physicians, medical institutions, and building owners during mediations and jury trials. Additionally, he has drafted and argued appeals before the Appellate Division of the State of New York.
