
Associate
Prior to joining MCB, Kelsey worked as an associate attorney at a full-service law firm in the New York area. Her primary responsibilities included defending insurance companies against claims involving premises liability, municipal liability, and construction accidents. In this capacity, she handled a high-volume caseload from inception to trial preparation. Kelsey has held legal internship positions involving public health policy and education, as well as defective drugs and medical devices, establishing a solid base for her current responsibilities in health care defense.
Kelsey received her B.A. cum laude from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2015, making the Dean’s List from Fall 2013–Fall 2015. She earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2019, where she was the Notes and Comments Editor for The American College of Trust and Estates Counsel Law Journal, Volume 44, and was also a Fellow of the Gitenstein Institute for Health and Law Policy. Kelsey is admitted to practice in New York, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and Connecticut.
