Prior to joining MCB, Kachatur was an attorney at several New York area law firms, where his practice spanned premises liability litigation and disability matters. His responsibilities included analyzing pleadings, Bills of Particu- lars, and discovery responses to develop liability and damages theories, drafting motion papers and persuasive briefs, appearing in the New York Supreme Courts for conferences, and reporting to insurance carriers on liability and procedural posture. In this work he regularly reviewed operative reports, imaging findings, and longitudinal treatment histories across a broad range of medical specialties, including orthopedic, neurological, psychiatric, cardiovascular,and autoimmune conditions.
Earlier in his career, Kachatur held a series of paralegal and legal writing po-sitions at New York firms concentrating in disability and long-term disabilitylitigation. In these roles he prepared physician affidavits and client statements,analyzed insurance plans and eligibility under ERISA, summarized complexmedical records into persuasive narratives, and supported attorneys with discovery, motion drafting, and court filings. Collectively, these positions gave him deep familiarity with medical record analysis and the intricacies of litigation.Kachatur received his B.A. in English from John Jay College of Criminal Justicein 2014, and earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2023.
Kachatur is admitted to practice in New York. He is fluent in Russian and Armenian.
