Associate
Before coming to MCB, Richard was a medical malpractice associate attorney at a mid-size New York area law firm, which specializes in the defense of high-exposure claims. He conducted extensive legal research; conducted depositions as well as court and settlement conferences; participated in settlement negotiations; and handled a large case load from inception through trial.
Richard acquired earlier legal experience while serving as an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney for a boutique law firm in Buffalo, New York. There, he represented corporate clients both in and out of court. Specific responsibilities included legal research; negotiating with and arguing against opposing counsel; strategizing optimal defense strategies; and successfully orchestrating out of court resolutions.
Richard received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany in 2016, graduating magna cum laude and making Dean’s List in all semesters. He earned his J.D. from Penn State Law in 2019, where he was a Member of the Penn State Law Corporate Law Society. He is admitted to practice in New York.
