Senior Trial Partner William P. Brady, Partner Amy E. Korn, and Associate Michelle N. Martinez successfully moved for summary judgment in a case involving death of an infant with a past medical history of asthma, who was brought by EMS into the Emergency Department of our client hospital in cardiac arrest. A summary judgment motion filed on behalf of our client hospital demonstrated adherence with the standard of care in the resuscitation efforts of the infant. The Court, in agreeing with our position, granted our summary judgment motion and dismissed all claims against our client hospital.
