Associate
Prior to joining MCB, Daniel was an associate attorney at a mid-size law firm in the New York area. He managed a broad caseload in state and federal courts, which required expertise in a variety of practice areas, including general liability, real estate and commercial litigation. Specific responsibilities encompassed all aspects of pretrial litigation, including developing case strategy, conducting depositions, negotiating settlements and coordinating with expert witnesses.
These tasks provided extensive drafting experience in categories such as pleadings, motions, settlement documents and appellate briefs. Daniel’s previous experience also includes legal internships with both the First and Second Judicial Departments of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, and three years as a litigation paralegal.
Daniel received his B.B.A. from the University of North Texas. He earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2019, where he made Dean’s List and received an Alumni Scholarship. While attending law school, Daniel was the Executive Director of the Dispute Resolution Society, where he competed at the regional and national levels in mediation and arbitration competitions. He is admitted to practice in New York, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of New York.
