MCB's Fall CLE Program, "Dispelling Assumptions to Contain Damages in Personal Injury Litigation" will be held on October 22, 2015 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

This program will explore how to deal with the assumptions made by plaintiffs' experts and counsel about the trajectory of underlying disease, surgical outcome, comorbidities, life and work expectancy, labor force participation, personal consumption, and other aspects of projecting the future of an allegedly injured party. These in combination will result in vastly inflated valuation of personal injury claims without an effort to balance the picture.

From real case examples we will explore how to identify areas where misleading assumptions are likely to be made, and how to obtain the discovery, expert witness input and trial preparation which is needed to assure that factual determinations of the liability and damages issues are based on the available evidence.

To meet the demands of our clients and to accommodate their busy schedules, MCB will provide this CLE program in a live video webinar format which our registrants can participate in comfortably from the office, at home or on the go. This webinar format will permit questions from the participants in a Q&A format at the end of the program. Login instructions and handout materials will be e-mailed to registrants one week prior to the seminar.
