Jacqueline’s interest in health care law was sparked at an early age by growing up in a household which emphasized science and medicine and instilled respect for medical professionals. This is reflected in her practice, where she loves to combine her passion for medicine with her oral, written and analytic skills to form robust defenses for her clients.

Jacqueline focuses intently on client communications, understanding that a organized, understandable, and calm presentation style is critical to enabling clients to navigate through the litigation process. Whether the subject is defense strategy, risk management or the underlying medicine itself, her demeanor instills confidence in her clients and quickly gains their trust.

Encompassing all areas of medical malpractice litigation and nursing home law, as well as general and professional liability matters, her 24+ years of experience include:

• Defending physicians, nursing homes, and hospitals (including Level 1 trauma centers) against all aspects of medical malpractice and general liability claims.

• Defending doctors and other medical professionals in professional liability matters.

• Representing medical personnel and institutions, with particular emphasis on claims involving emergency department care, surgery, psychiatry, radiology, obstetrics and gynecology and chemical dependence.

• Representing physicians in Office of Professional Medical Conduct proceedings. Jacqueline is rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell®, their highest peer rating, which recognizes an attorney’s professional excellence, legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.*
