We are pleased to announce the appointment of Michael C. Clarke as the Firm’s Managing Attorney.

Following six years as a prosecutor in New York City, Michael joined MCB in 1994 as a Senior Associate, both litigating and specializing in medical malpractice litigation, as well as handling OPMC matters. After leaving MCB, Michael worked as Counsel at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and as a Director of Compliance for Pratt & Whitney's/United Technologies Corporation’s global ethics and international trade compliance programs.
Immediately before his 2019 return to MCB, Michael served as the Chief of Staff and Counsel, Director of Training, and Deputy Inspector General for Welfare in the New York State Offices of the Inspector General. There, Michael was responsible for the Agency’s overall operations, including the training, budget, case management/intake, administration, human resources, public information, and information technology units. Along with having direct oversight of the Inspector General’s employees, statewide, Michael managed the Agency’s staff recruitment, retention, and training programs.
As the Firm’s Managing Attorney, Michael is the main liaison to our clients on all case-related and client management issues. Michael will ensure that the Firm meets the demands of our clients and continue to provide effective, efficient and results-driven services to our clients. Michael will oversee the professional development initiatives and activities for the attorneys and legal staff, along with supervising the intake of all new cases, and managing attorney education, mentoring and training.
