Partner Thomas J. Kroczynski recently received a unanimous defense verdict in Supreme Court, Suffolk County, in a case involving a 56-year old woman with a history of left leg fractures who was taking Premarin, Calcium supplements and multivitamins (MVI).

Plaintiff’s decedent presented to the Emergency Department of the MCB client hospital complaining of a high fever and shortness of breath. She was evaluated and admitted the same day, and remained for three weeks, after which she was discharged.
